This notice explains how we use your personal data when you sign up for the free Proper Templates UK checklist, and the rights you have under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

What we collect and why
We collect your email address only. We use it to send the free checklist to everyone who signs up.
If you tick the optional box on the sign-up form, we’ll also send you occasional emails with practical landlord tips and offers on our templates. If you don’t tick it, you’ll get the checklist only.
Our lawful basis is your consent: you ask for the checklist when you sign up, and you agree to tips and offers by ticking the box. You can withdraw your consent at any time and unsubscribe with one click.
Who processes your data
Our emails are sent through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), our email service provider, which stores and processes your email address on our behalf. We never sell your details.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use cookies or analytics. The only scripts on the site check that your email address is in a valid format, send your sign-up to Brevo, and power the “Copy link” button.
Your rights
- Access: ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your personal data.
- Objection: object to our use of your data, including for marketing emails.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Unsubscribing and deletion
To unsubscribe, click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails. You will receive no further marketing emails from us.
To have your data deleted, email contact@propertemplatesuk.co.uk from the address you signed up with, and we will remove it.
